WHO IS BEFORE JULY?
Before July is a UK based slow fashion brand born from the desire to decrease the demand for ‘Throw Away’ Fashion. Creating timeless statement pieces that can be worn season after season, lasting for longer than just one trend cycle. The fabric used to create your Before July pieces are predominantly dead stock / end of roll pieces which can be a mix linen, poly, viscose and cotton or 100% cottons. Our Fabric is bought from a UK supplier, by not sourcing overseas we can reduce our carbon footprint.
Founded by myself; Elisa Jaycott, designing 1-2 collections per year with each order being made by a small group of local seamstess’s.
Since launching Before July has featured in ELLE, British Vogue, Who What Wear (UK & AUS), and The Independent.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
When you place your order with Before July your item/s are then cut, sewn & made to order just for you. This means that we have a production time to make your order, this production time can vary from busier periods - you can check the announcement bar at the top of the site for current production times. once your order has been made & shipped you will receive a fulfilment email with your tracking number. If however you need your order sooner than 4-5 weeks you can add ‘Rush Order’ to your cart & then state the date in which you’ll need your order for in the notes section at Checkout. You’ll find ‘Rush Order’ on our Shopping page at the bottom of the site.

Do you ship worldwide? - Yes!
If i have specific measurements (like a Size 10 waist with a Size 12 hip) can you do a custom size? - Absolutely, just leave any measurements that you think we might need in the motes section once you get to checkout.
If i see a style in a fabric i like but would like it on a different shape can i request this? - of course! just let me know the fabric and the style you’d like to doit in (either via email or DM on socials)
If i’m tall or petite can i have my dress hem length made to fit according to my height? - Yes! if you think we’d need to know your height then leave this in the notes section at checkout and we’ll either add or remove length depending on your request.
